Photographer in Charlotte, North Carolina

I am a multidisciplinary artist based in Charlotte, NC. I specialize in photography, mixed media, and literary work. I have a great passion for the arts, humanity, beauty, and detail, and most of all, I love light. I am in love with its relationship to shadow and try to show the best of it in all my photographs. I do all manners of freelance work, such as engagement, couple, family, modeling, headshot, etc portraiture, and am interested in small weddings, as well. I've been pursuing photography seriously for over twelve years. I fell in love with photograph as a very small child, using disposable cameras to record beautiful light from the very beginning. I graduated to DSLRs and now use both analogue and digital cameras. I have worked in many disciplines within the photographic mediums, such as 35mm, digital, instant, 120mm (medium format), and large format photography. I've even worked with photograms and have used darkrooms and processed film on my own. I love photography and am excellent at it. In a sense, seeing the light keeps me alive. I am also a tutor in my spare time, so I can work with children and families with compassion and patience. I've worked well with models and couples before, as well as pets (both dogs and cats), and enjoy working with people. I have an assistant/intern who helps me with my equipment.
