Photographer in Bellingham, Washington

I've been involved in photography and digital art for more than 15 years. Looking to develop my skills into a business over the next couple of years to transition from my current profession (chef and general manager of a restaurant). I'm interested in high fashion photography, expressive portraiture, events such as weddings or reunions as well as retouching and digital composites. I enjoy working in natural light with a reflector traditionally but am learning advanced studio lighting techniques as well. On the road to starting my business I know from my other professional experiences that I need to focus on networking and meeting the right people, from models to people who'd like to subcontract retouching or whatever kind of interesting work might be out there.
