Movement and discovering ones inner beauty is at the heart of my work. I explore the dichotomy of photography and movement through every photograph. I focus on the performative process of capturing time. Photography aims to freeze time while movement is ephemeral. I aim to showcase the inner beauty of those that are a part of my work as well as inspire those who view it. I am inspired by film photographers of past as well as the trends that float by in the present. As a dancer, I have a unique way of interacting with bodies in space. My choices and angles are in response to the movements and inner beauty of my subjects. I consistently ask “what's next” or “what else can we do” to push the boundaries.
