Hi, I’m Melissa. Nice to meet you! I am all about making memories and helping create them. Some fun random facts about me: I am a Diet Coke addict. I am an avid baker, cat lover, and hiking outdoor enthusiast. I am that fun, down-to-earth, girl next door kind of lady who has too much to say, never filters what comes out of my mouth, and has one too many thoughts going on at once. I walk that fine line between charming and dorky. I am a lover of Starbuck’s Hot Chocolate, Moose Tracks Ice Cream, and I bake one mean chocolate chip cookie. Formally known as Melissa Gibson Photography, the name didn’t suit me. It just didn’t fit my brand. So I remade it into something that can be truly mine……..Captured. That’s my motto. I capture moments. I LOVE capturing moments. I love taking pictures and capturing the special moments of everyday life. I live for those behind the scenes, candid photos that always seem to make the best memories. I know what it like to be a bride; a mother, a sister. I know what moments of your day you want captured, remembered, and the memories you never want to forget. Now that I have children, I take as many as those “in the moment pictures”; because they pass by in the blink of an eye. As the saying goes, “always smile because you never know when you are making a memory!
