Nikki Lunden is a freelance photographer based in Los Angeles. She specializes in nightclub scenes, parties, family events, bands/artists and natural settings. Established in 2013. In 2013 I met the love of my life and found myself quickly exposed to several new forms of media and ways of expressing my art. As a starving artist, my now fiance decided I could make some extra cash shooting photos for her club on Saturday nights. She gave me a Canon T5i and let me loose. ​ At first, I found myself taking over 2,000 photos every Saturday! I didn't know what I was after so I would just point and click all night long, drowning myself in editing for eternity every week. Of course I knew this was no good. Soon, I started to really look through the lens as if what was on the other side was already cropped, edited and a finished image. I had figured out how to take the exact photo I wanted on the first shot, changing my whole perspective on what I was doing. Now, 3 years later, on those same Saturday nights I shoot about 200- 300 photos with 90% keepers.
