As a homeschooler, along side of my writing and publishing career, I am an amateur photographer. As my hobby has developed into a passion to capture memories, I want to extend this out to other homeschooling families in the area. I am interested in serving our local Homeschooling community here in the Greater Mecklenburg & Cabarrus Counties around Charlotte, NC. My services are only for homeschool families for beginning and the end-of-school-year school photos, also family portraits. I am not available for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, etc. I only offer mini-sessions that last up to 30 minutes, and only during certain times of the year I schedule. My prices are competitive to that of professional photographers, as my base is $50 per session. Included in this price isn't just time to take the photos, but to also edit them and upload them onto a CD/DVD that I can either mail or deliver by hand. If you'd like family photos during the session time we meet, another $20 will be added to the base price (making school and family photos a total of $70). Service Update: All photos taken for your family will be fully yours. I will not require a contract to be signed in order for you to recover your full-resolution photos. At times, I may ask you if your photos could be used as samples for my Facebook page, and upon your agreement only would a release form need to be filled out and be signed. Once the photos are edited and given to you, they are fully yours to do with as you wish. This is a service I am providing homeschool families for memories to be captured and saved. I will keep the photos on file for 90 days after editing is complete in case any files somehow are corrupted in the transfer to you and your family. For your printing needs, I have a professional printing service I can refer you to for your printing needs that are affordable and competitively priced to that of big box printing services. They are excellent and work primarily with high resolution photos and therefore do not have many of the issues you can face with normal services (i.e. cropping of images in printed form).
