My name is David Castillo and I am a 3rd-year student at the University of California, San Diego, searching for opportunities to not only create an impact with my creative direction but to further engage in different experiences, perspectives, and ideas from people. Through venues such as photography, fashion, and design, I am able to captivate still moments and provide projects with artistic value that can bring insight into the human experience. Born and raised in Los Angeles California, I am inspired by the culture and the people that surround me. Whether that is Chicanx history, Modern-day hip hop, or LA sports, these aspects of my community allow me to see culture as an avenue to unite people together. At the young age of 20, I have already managed to have an extensive background working in a variety of different departments such as Sports and Recreation, Student Mentorship, News & Media, and Child Development providing a plethora of resources from creative direction, leadership skills, and communication. With my passion and creative abilities, I am confident that I can provide unique qualities to serve a position at any company.
