Photographer in Nashville, Tennessee

Ello! My mother named me Sharyn Bachleda. I entered this realm 24 years ago and as soon as I could use my hands, started making things. My mother recalls me drawing a chicken at age two (she actually saved it too). At fourteen, I inherited my grandfather's camera and have been making photographic images for about ten years now. What started as an aid in my adolescent identity search has developed figuratively and physically into many facets of visual imagery. I prefer keeping things natural. While film is my preferred medium, I will shoot digital as well for convenience / depending on budget. My days are spent developing and scanning film in my apartment, painting, reading and making tacos. I prefer location based natural light shoots and find myself returning to working with musicians, designers and local business owners. I can keep talking but the work will say more than I can. :)
