Hello! My name is Nicole and I want to make beautiful images for you. A little background about me: I am originally from California – an LA native, I lived in San Diego for 14 years before moving to NYC. Everyone asks why I left such a beautiful place. At the time I just needed a change but ended up falling in love with this tough town (still getting used to the winters though!). In San Diego I took photography classes at City College, one of the premier educational facilities for photography in the country. I grew up shooting on film/analog cameras so I shoot purposefully with an eye for composition and lighting. I truly believe that quality > quantity so I'm not the type who will fire off 50 shots to hopefully get one good image. For me, photography comes down to storytelling with light no matter the subject. I have previously been an in-studio commercial photographer for Nixon watches and Richline Group, the largest U.S. manufacturer of jewelry so I can shoot everything from luxury products for advertising, catalogs, e-comm, and lifestyle, as well as softgoods and accessories. With event photography, I like to bring a photojournalistic approach to documenting cultural events and celebrations. I shoot discreetly and thoroughly and pride myself on going above and beyond for my clients.
