Photographer in Kensington, Maryland

I was born and raised in Morocco and have lived in Washington DC since 2000 . Growing up in a rich multicultural environment has fostered my passion for photography from an early age. As a young child, I had to be drawing, painting, playing music or building something. Anything that I could call my own and my creation. After studying Business and Economics back home, I relocated to DC area where I went to school for Finance and worked in the hospitality business as a mixologist for 10 years before leaving to pursue my photography art . Even working in the hospitality business, I have never ceased to view myself as an artist. To position myself any other way would be absurd. I don't like to define myself and my style because that limits me. Years of work have led me to find the style that I have at the moment but this may change over the years as I am an adventurer and I love to try different things. I currently reside in Kensington Maryland with my wife, Kate and our lovely daughter Olivia. When my energy isn't being applied to work, I can be found spending it through quality time with my family and friends. I am always humbled when clients choose me to capture a part of their life, and I am grateful for every opportunity to do so. My pursuit of new experiences pushes me to continually evolve my vision, while reminding me of the importance of carrying my camera with humor, compassion and curiosity.
