My name is Savanna Goodman. I am an equestrian, mountain biker, skiier, kiteboarder, scuba diver, traveler, and all-around adventurer that loves sharing my out-of-the-ordinary angle of the world: my Alternate Aspect. During my eight year span in St Thomas, US Virgin Islands, I fell in love with photography and completed various projects during my time there, including two years of "Pin-Up" style calendars for famous pizza boat: Pizza Pi VI, as well as my project, "Our Colors will Not Fade," as published in the Huffington Post and What to Do VI after back to back Category 5 Hurricanes Irma and Maria. What is "Conceptual Photography?" Well, this is a phrase that came from my imagination, but I think of it as something like this: The best portrait shots are always the candid ones: natural poses and expressions that are more accidental than pre-mediated. That's why I like to have a theme in mind, a concept, that we can base our session around, and I can more or less document your experience. Here in seasonal Breckenridge, snowman building and sleigh rides are two examples off the top of my head. Costumes. Branding sessions for businesses. Even spraying a bottle of champagne can make all the difference. Pets! Bring your mountain bike, your skis, your swankiest outfits...
