Photographer in Richmond, Texas

My full name is Maria Gabriela, but everyone calls me Gaby. I am a Salvadorean photographer based in Houston, Texas. I specialize in food and beverage photography. I studied Art in college and photography was always my medium of choice. Portraits were my thing, until one day as an exhausted first-time mom while my son was napping I went down the Pinterest rabbit hole and found food photography. At the time my cooking had gotten better and I was obsessed with baking and photographing pretty galettes. Now, with two kids and a lot of galette baking and photographing under my belt, I have finally taken the leap to starting my own photography business. As a photographer, I love conceptualizing, prop sorting, and styling colorful scenes that help small brands showcase their products in a creative way.
