AJ Jordan is a portrait, nightlife, and concert photographer in the NYC metropolitan area. They've been working in NYC since 2017, but have snapped photos daily since middle school. They are best known for their work photographing Sasha Velour's Nightgowns and Switch 'n' Play, and numerous other drag shows and artists throughout Brooklyn. Their photography focuses on capturing the emotions of live art and portraits of artists. Their work has been featured in Time Out New York, Entertainment Weekly, Nylon, Billboard, the Cut, Vibe, them, the Fader, A&U, Yes Louisville, the WOW report, Fashion Photo RuView, and more. Their collaborations include photographing a poster for NYFW 2018 show The Gift of Showz with Opening Ceremony and Sasha Velour, and photographing a poster for 2019 documentary A Night at Switch 'n' Play. In their spare time, they like to hang out with other people's dogs.
