Welcome All level of students are welcome. The tutoring sessions are custom tailored for each students needs. My Qualifications: As a professional photographer my client list includes corporations such as Delta Airlines, Emory Hospital and Bell South. My work has been published on the front pages of The Washington Post, USA Today, the New York Times and other national and international publications. I also worked as a contract photographer for the New York Times best-selling book, America 24/7. After earning a MFA in 2007, I worked as a full time college photography professor. I taught a wide range of subjects including beginning digital photography, Color Management, Digital Asset Management, and classes that involved other advanced Photoshop skills. The sessions can be as basic as getting software installed correctly on your Mac to building a professional workflow for your Digital Asset Management or non-destructive editing in photoshop. Session topics might be: Getting familiar and setting up your new camera Getting familiar with your new Mac Getting a better understanding of Depth of field, Apertures, Shutter speeds, ISO, and shooting in the manual mode Non-destructive editing strategies in photoshop Portrait Retouching, both at a beginning level to Frequency Separation techniques Better understanding of Lightroom's Library and Develop modules Learn how to burn and dodge your images in Lightroom I look forward to hearing from you. The tutoring sessions are $50.00 an hour. A mileage fees is added if you are located outside the perimeter. $60.00 an hour for group sessions of 5 or less. Steve
