Hi, my name is Rashid Jarrell. I am originally from Rochester, New York, but have lived in Connecticut for the past 6 years. I love movies, my family, good friends and orange juice. Being a stay-at-home father has giving me great subjects to practice on---my kids. They have been my greatest inspiration and I am always carrying my camera with me, chasing the light, because that is what I love to do. I have had the pleasure to shoot some great photos of birthdays, weddings, nature, family portraits, children, sports, models, animals and so forth. I honestly can say that I enjoy what I do an look forward to making creative choices each time I take a photograph. ? Growing up, I realized that we did not own a camera and I did not have the ability to enjoy the journey that was my life. I always believed that you can create a story from a person's pictures. ? I’m certain that my passion for photography is noticeable. What brings me joy is the ability to create a story with the images that I get to shoot. My goal is to bring the situation to life and add my own creative spin to what is going to be a great moment in time. I relish every detail of your story. Each time I am welcomed into those vulnerable moments, somewhere in between the handshake and the farewell, I am a grateful observer. And in an instant, preserving a familiar glance, a dimple, or a smile. That’s the place I want to be, creating ART from the moments in between. ? In the beginning or in the end, it all comes down to you and your memories. That’s what I’m here for, to preserve those precious moments you want to remember for a lifetime.
