Photographer in Montreal, Quebec

Hey there, I'm Becca, a fine arts student based in Montreal. Throughout my work, I typically focus on portraiture and lived-in spaces. I love to explore simplicity and candid moments, inviting viewers into an honest place that I create with my photography. I prefer to create a collaborative space between myself and subjects/clients, as I believe that can lead to a much more successful image. However, I believe there's so much more to portraiture than just a face on a white background. I love to incorporate things that speaks to the client, and helps communicate to viewers who they are. I began with shooting photos on film for assignments with my friends, but I am eager to dive into a more professional setting with my photography. One thing that is super important to me is ensuring a comfortable space for both the client and myself. To do so, I am incredibly open to shooting in a space that is chosen by the client, and to give them the choice to bring a friend along, as I will probably have an assistant with me (most likely a friend of mine)! My availability will be pretty open, starting in September, I will be able to work some afternoons, most evenings, and most weekends. I am bilingual in both English and French, however, English is my first language and is preferred.
