Photographer in Phoenix, Arizona

Hi, my name is Sheli. I specialize in lifestyle (at home or on the job) and in-field shoots, reluctant subjects, near-macro and nature, products and "b-roll". I'm settling back in Phoenix but have been a nomad within the Southwest for the last 5 years. I'm familiar with and perfectly comfortable working in many different environments: the Sonoran Desert, the White Mountains, the scrub and grasslands in between, in town at a quiet library, a vast EXPO, or a grand gala event, a busy kitchen or a dusty firing range, even the tense excitement of the labor and delivery unit or beside an at-home birthing tub. I am flexible and appreciate a wide array of styles and tastes, even those that aren't my own cup of tea. I have grown into a sociable introvert. I am now proficient in customer service and networking, but l still know what it's like to have extreme social anxiety and the burden of minor body dysmorphia. These personal experiences give me a unique patience and understanding where many tend to run over their loved ones or models in very well-meaning efforts to encourage them to "come out of their shell". I am also happy working with other photographers, either as an assistant or providing b-roll. I love to brainstorm and troubleshoot with clients, models and fellow Creatives.
