Photographer in Arvada, Colorado

I have been a photographer for 12 years and love being able to work in beautiful Colorado. I have served my country in the United States Army, I began my artistic endeavor after joining the Army as a 25M, (Multimedia Graphics Illustrator), where I was instrumental in designing psychological leaflets and wartime propaganda for operation Enduring Freedom. An injury prompted my early exit from the Army, and I returned home to my native state of Colorado where I found my true calling at the Art Institute of Colorado in Photography. My love of photography and art combine to bring a unique perspective to my photos resulting in pieces that find the true art of the picture. With an artistic and creative drive, I take pride in creating photos that bring my visions to life. "Why did I become a photographer" you ask? To put it simply, I fell in love with the process of photography and the way it makes people feel. I am very enthusiastic about what I do and enjoy every minute of it. I can capture that moment in time to instantly transport you back to a feeling, a memory or, to tell a story of days gone by. It sparks conversations that include phrases like "Do you remember that?" or "Geez, that was a fun day!" or “I can’t believe it was that long ago." This is what drives my love of being a photographer - to help capture those moments and cherish them forever. Mistakes and failure are the building blocks for success and prosperity -Mike Connor-
