I was born... in a hospital. My mom and dad were by my side, I bet. Since a young age I have always been gravitated to the artistic part of life. Now I can't claim to say I started taking pictures at a young age because that would be not true. I was to poor to buy a proper camera, but the times I did get my hands on those disposable ones, well I went to town. However I did manage to save all of my money to buy an entry level camera when I was 18 and since I never looked back at those disposable ones. That camera went with me everywhere, now many of my early shots were ok at best but I still kept on shooting. Slowly but surely I started to learn more in depth about photography. Boy did I learn a bunch in the following years. During my early 20's I was taking good quality pictures of family and friends, non paid because they were too cheap but I happily took their pictures anyways. Then one time a close friend suggested I take pictures of his daughter sweet 15 and better yet he offered to compensate me for my services. After that came many mini photo shoots, birthdays, social events, and finally my first wedding. Now, by this time I was more confident with my camera and the results I can provide, but a wedding is a whole different animal per say. I have to say I was in for a treat, aside from the pressure of being ready to capture those special moments, it was just beautiful. Not to sound too cliché but a wedding is a special day to witness joy, love, passion; and being part of it all, front row seat as a photographer, well it is wonderful. And that's why I love wedding photography, because it gives an opportunity to capture all those special moments with all those wonderful feelings and tell the story of families coming together for this joyful event.
