In Scott’s teens, he listened to Punk and New Wave music. Scott loved the Chicago and New York underground art and music scene at the time. Longing for the big city where he could experience all that underground art culture, like Keith Haring, Victor Skrebneski and Robert Mapplethorpe. Fascinated by the process and individual passion. No surprise that Scott graduated from Columbia College Chicago. Today Scott still listens to some of the same music. Inspired by the disruptions of the art movement, especially where you are forced to rethink how you view the world. Scott considers himself an "in the moment" photographer. Still, Scott plans specific shots based on his own creative strategy and what the client requests.
