Jon Erickson is a photographer, cinematographer, and editor with a BA in Culture and Media from Eugene Lang College and 7 years of professional experience. He has worked on an Emmy award winning series (Bloom), National Geographic's Big Cat Week, BooHoo.....'s Summer 17 ad campaign, and the first Hollywood film to be shot in Cuba since the 1959 revolution (Papa: Hemingway in Cuba). Most recently he was Director of Photography for Waking the Sleeping Giant: The Making of a Political Revolution, winner of Best Documentary Feature at Thin Line Fest 2017. His personal work covers a wide variety of media including painting, photography, collage, and environmental installations. His paintings and photographs have been exhibited in multiple group shows in New York City.
