Hi there. My name is Carolyn Manney and I have been a professional photographer for the past eight years. I have shot weddings, portraits, families, kids, couples, musicians, even the occasional pet. Although I love a good food photo or a shot of a windswept mountain landscape, I am ultimately drawn to people. To emotion. To that twinkle in the eye. I love capturing candid moments, the spaces in between that are only there for a split second, but will become your memories long after. I like to make people feel comfortable, to put them at ease in front of the camera, because it's natural to feel a little nervous. I am very creative and collaborative, patient and easygoing. I love when clients have ideas to throw into the mix, I am always up for a challenge. I also bring my husband along on a lot of photo shoots, especially weddings. His name is Drew and he is a talented photographer himself, has a keen eye for detail, can make any baby smile and is the ultimate wingman. We have a lot of fun taking pictures together. I do not have one specific price point, I instead enjoy working in a variety of budgets with lots of different people. *Family/Kids - My favorite place to take these types of photos is in the great outdoors. This could be in your own backyard, at a local park, in an alley with lots of cool graffiti. I like it all. *Musicians/Bands - I love shooting at concerts. You may not realize just how cool you look performing on stage, but you do, and catching those moments is really fun. I also have dabbled in band photos as well and would like to do more of this, especially if you have creative ideas as well and we can collaborate. *Portraits - Some may also call them head shots, but either way it can been good to have a really nice looking portrait of yourself for a variety of uses.
