Hey! I'm Lexi, a photographer based in Decatur and Atlanta, Georgia. There is beauty in everything, and I strive to capture my subjects’ fullest potential. We all deserve to feel like our best selves, and that is my baseline for my work. I believe life is about the small things, and my job as a photographer is to highlight and uplift those little details. (If you’re interested, my boring, yet relevant qualifications are summarized at the bottom.) I specialize in themed portraiture and album-covers, but I also love nature photography, headshots, graduation photos, family photos, pet photos, and small events. I accept inquiries for other types of events or projects, depending on circumstance and ability. I am mostly an on-location photographer, as I don’t have my own studio, but I may have some flexibility for creative portraits and headshots. I also work aside from photography, so I prefer ample notice, or evening sessions. If you have any questions, or are interested in working together, feel free to let me know. Photography is my creative passion, so always know I’m doing this for fun, not a paycheck. Note: If you are looking to print images, be sure to let me know so I can make sure the files are formatted and sized appropriately according to the print type. I can also provide services like making flyers, creating digital negatives for cyanotypes or alternative print methods, and formatting images for books or zines. I do not print, but I can provide recommendations based on your specific need. Qualifications: I have a degree in film and media from Emory University. I concentrated my studies on photography, specifically regarding staged portraiture, observational nature photography, alternative printmaking, and image sequencing. I also held a job as a media technician where I taught classes on using the Adobe Suite (editing software) and more. I executed multiple exhibits and won a photography contest, so while I can’t guarantee perfection, I know my way around a camera. Some of my favorite things to shoot are children and pets in their natural environment.
