Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Rick Edwards played bass guitar in many bands there, including Johnny and the Distractions, The Wasted Rangers and blues legend Albert Collins. In the mid 80's Rick left the music business and became a Park Ranger in the National Park Service where he rediscovered his passion for photography. Rick moved to NYC in 1999. He worked for 5 years at The American Museum of Natural History where he directed the digital imaging of the Department of Paleontology's Dinosaur Collection. An avid music photographer, Rick managed Morrison Hotel Gallery in the Bowery and RIFF, Andy Hilfiger's pop up rock and roll fashion store at the old CBGB Gallery location in New York City. Some of Rick's clients include: Ringo Starr, Willie Nelson, Kings Of Leon, Cheap Trick, The Wallflowers, The Buzzcocks, California Breed and more. He has been published in Rolling Stone, Dazed and Confused, Vanity Fair, National Geographic, The New York Times, Black and White Magazine and more.
