My philosophy on photography coincides with the belief that the memory must come before the photograph. That's to say, what we aim to capture is not a total fiction, that we may be cognizant of the moment at hand, giving us a reason to capture it. I shoot mostly soft focus or pictorialist-style images, as I'm trying to invoke a particular spirit.
