My goal as a photographer is always to capture what is unique and compelling about each new person I meet, and to let their particular kind of beauty do all the work in our shoot. The best way to capture what is special about someone in a photo is to actually learn what is special about them in person, so I strive to connect with each client and get to know them as people. My style of photography is very much oriented toward capturing candid, natural, relaxed moments, more akin to photojournalism than formal portraiture. I always aim to capture the natural joy and life in a person, relationship, or gathering.
