https://....re I have worked in photography on a professional scale since 2010. Over the years I've tackled many varieties of photography formats, medians, and genes. I've worked in film development as well, though most of the frames I shoot for clients are digital, due to the conveniences it provides in the development process, and it's also easier to guarantee final print result with digital frames. I've had experience in high volume action (sports, wildlife, etc.), fashion (runways, campaign, studio, etc.), architecture, natural landscape, special events (weddings, live entertainment performances, corporate functions, etc.), however I specialize in solo portraiture. I believe I offer a unique experience in this area, because I am a model-photographer and, therefore, have the advantage of experience on both sides of the lens. Because of this factor, I can go into a portrait shoot with the understanding of what the vision is, and what will appeal to the majority if critics, but then also provide empathy for the model/subject to genuinely work with them to ensure the photos are as flattering as possible. I like to think if it as a sort of justified vanity, and I say "justified" because, while it is not typically appropriate in everyday scenarios to make your appearance an issue is great vitality, it IS when you are posing for photos that someone has invested a great deal of time and money toward. Through my portraits, I aspire to enhance the pre-existing beauty of each subject I photograph, while still remaining true to the subject's character. I believe it is embarrassing and insulting when someone hires a photographer to shoot a portrait, and is given a final product that, while aesthetically pleasing, is unrecognizable. I don't think anyone likes to hear "That's such a great photo of you! I didn't even recognize you!". My goal is to have every client walk away satisfied with a photograph that they truly believe is the best photo of themselves, and still looks like them.
