Hello I am a Toronto based Photographer and Producer experienced in a wide array of photography. I also volunteer as a photographer with a few local animal rescue organizations. My personal work, the senior dog photo series Old Faithful and most recently FAT CATS, have both gone viral and have been featured online and in print in popular entertainment and design media outlets worldwide such as Buzzfeed, Bored Panda, Huffington Post, Esquire, Fast Company, Design Taxi, ABC, PBS, CBC, and more. Last year Old Faithful was published by the American publishing house HarperCollins, and I am currently shopping Fat Cats and my new series Able Dogs! to publishers. I am represented by the New York based literary agency InkWell Management. My work reflects a meeting of fine art and commercial technicality to produce creative imagery in the highest quality that propels the story forward. I have experience working with major publishers, clients and creative individuals for various commercial and artistic ventures in both professional photo studios and on location based shoots. The nature of these types of collaborations has led to excellent communication skills with both crew and client and as such I have a talent for getting people and products to perform in front of and behind the lens to ultimately deliver a top quality image to the client's specifications. In order to produce these projects, I had to coordinate photo shoots in multiple locations and in numerous cities (NYC, VanCity, MTL, etc), research and book multiple studios, rent and transport equipment, create/organize/ and update a complex spreadsheet of information about each potential candidate, including editing and cataloging bios and stories from each, and all of this under strict deadlines for an expedited publishing date. All of this on my own and of my own initiative. To market and promote these projects I also had to source and foster relationships with media contacts, as evident from the wide distribution and reception of these projects. I strive to create impactful images and I pride myself in being able to take the average person on the street, everyday object, the most common household cat, or a scrappy old doggy and elevate them into superstars, unique caricatures, and memorable faces.
