Hello, My name is John Scott, I am origanlly from St. Louis but just relocated to the DMV area looking for creative and photfraphy opportunities. I have been around photography for the majority of my life. My uncle has always been a photgrapher and had me helping out with shoots at the early age of 12. I always had point and shoot cameras and video cameras as kid, and it was more of an hobby. It wasnt until I attended college at the University of Southern Illinois- Carbondale that I found an intrest in Photography as more than just a hobby. I took one photojournalism class with a wonderful professor Phillip Greer and he taught me about the camera and made me look at this "magical box" in a way I had never looked at it before. He recomneded me to the school newspaper and the sky was the limit after that. I went on to graduate, move back home to STL started my own Creative Agency with my brother and being to work with small buisness, artist, and brands on branding and revamping there image. We offer services such as Photography, Videography, Creative Direction, and Graphic Design. Also upon retutning home I landed a job with local newspaper the St.Louis American where I covered social events, concerts, and nightlife. My life journey has landed me in the DMV area looking for a bigger network and opportunity.
