In my perspective, photography is not simply a job; I have found great reward in it almost every day since freshman year of high school. I bought my own DSLR sophomore year and have not looked back since then. Photography as a personal and career outlet has made me the person I am today. Each new photoshoot allows me to do something different and exciting. Every person I meet along my photo journey is special, and I take time to get know them. In life, new friends are always welcome. I have photographed everything from newborn babies to high school senior portraits, and landscapes to commercial crabbing vessels. There is nothing out there I will refuse to capture with my camera lens. Every style and subject has their own unique way of being. From wiping boogers off a toddlers face, to jellyfish sticking to your face during a very focused attempt at getting the perfect shot (actually happened)! I will do whatever it takes to get the image. My passion for art and creation is the driving force. I am a California raised, open-minded, hard working, team oriented photographer and editor. I love talking with people, connecting with them through the camera, and maintain professionalism during every photoshoot. Making sure everyone is comfortable is a key component to making thing happen naturally and successfully.
