Based in Los Angeles, California I'm born and raised in Barcelona, Spain where I lived most of my life. I've also lived  in Mexico for 5 years where I worked as a photojournalist for entertainment photo agencies. I have also traveled to more than 30 countries and met different cultures along my lifetime.  I am currently an entertainment photographer for the Associated Press in Los Angeles doing A-List celebrity portraiture, special private events, movie and TV premieres, red carpet events, concerts, etc. I'm used to visualize the final result of the picture I'm trying to achieve even before I shoot my camera. I like to see beauty everywhere and I'm not obsessed about documenting what purists call "reality" since we all have our own reality and we also have different ways to express it. I work as a photojournalist though... Curious isn't it? I'm really into photography. I love to shoot landscapes which I consider nature portraiture. Street and urban photography is a must for me since there's a lot of things going on in a urban environment, a lot of interactions between people and their urban reality. Street portraits are fun and people is merged into their so called natural environment. Shooting in studio is also amazing. The way of setting up the lights, backgrounds, soft boxes, umbrellas and all the different light modifiers is always a beautiful challenge and varies from person to person. Interacting with models, men, women, kids, newborn babies, loving couples or even entire families is another way of make people happy. When it comes to weddings I'm so in love with it. A happy couple that let you take care of their precious memories is something that goes beyond the respect for your work and so you must correspond. Headshots is something I take very seriously as well. I'm fully aware that that photos are going to be your business card and they need to be treated like that.
