Photographer in Nepean, Ontario

Hi, My name is Kolin Casagrande, and I am a photographer here in Ottawa. In a previous life, I was a filmmaker, and, over the course of 15 years, I produced and directed five short films, and also produced two feature films. Four of those films I also wrote (or, co-wrote), and I edited four of them, as well. As I transitioned over from filmmaking to photography, I was able to take what I had learned as a filmmaker and apply that to my photo work. I have always had an appreciation for the visual side of filmmaking and strived to make my films as visually striking as possible. I love composing shots and working on the movement that happens within the frame, and, as my photography career grows, I continue to expand my knowledge of working within the frame. I also like to focus on making my pictures look cinematic, and, in doing so, I feel that I have attained a very unique style. I like the idea that my photos have a signature and stand out among other photographers' work. It's not the best photography out there, but, it is. my own, and, as I learn more about photography and photo editing, I move closer towards becoming the best photographer I can be. I love what I do, and I can't wait to see how far my work - and my passion - can take me. Thank you so much. Kolin.
