Starting out as a painter first, I fell in love with the creative process. Being able to show others his thoughts and feelings thru his paintings. In his early 20's he began to exhibit his work in local galleries, and very quickly made a name for myself. Being featured in several local newspapers like The Fresno Bee and Hanford Sentinel, also on local television shows like KMPH's Great Day and ABC's Latino Life with Graciela Moreno. Along the way I met up with other artists to participate and help organize art festivals in and around Central California. Later on I begin to play around with photography and my passion for capturing moments began. Everywhere I went I took my camera and photographed everything I saw, with time and practice I got better at my craft. People began to show interest in my photography work and I slowly left painting in the past. Today I'm a freelance photographer, which gives me the freedom to express myself creatively and provide for my family. An artist at heart, this is first and foremost how I view what I do and who I am.​ A muscian can practice hours a day, every day for weeks to master their instrument. The same can be said for anyone in the arts, a painter, a dancer, an actor, etc. Photographing models requires multiple people to come together to share their time for a single product. I'm not perfect, so I practice. I love the arts and I want to improve, with every day at every shoot. Sometimes I get paid for those shoots, other times I am learning new techniques, both are viewed as a positive.
