i'm working on a social media project for my capstone that makes up a large portion of my grade. in this project, i want to show that the perception of gender in pop culture is still very much assumption-based. sex sells, and the message often comes in the form of super-feminine women wearing skimpy clothing posing suggestively - either alone or with a man that physically contrasts her femininity. i want to create some expose these assumptions by dressing like a girl (i'm a guy). i want to portray the femininity mentioned above. the end goal is to create (in photos) an uneasiness with people that comes from their assumptions regarding gender being messed with. i'm looking for someone to help me with makeup and taking photos. they don't have to be professional. i just need to get my point across. please text or e-mail me!
