Photographer Job in Niantic, Connecticut

Hello Photographers, AMATEUR AND PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS & VIDEOGRAPHERS ARE BADLY NEEDED! The town of East Lyme’s Historical House Society is hosting a cycling event benefiting “open spaces and historic places” September 29th 2018. This popular event is called the East Lyme Bike and BBQ and is listed as #8 on the top cycling events in Connecticut! We badly need photographers and videographers to cover this event. There are six rides that need to be photographed two of which are 100 miles long. All routes cross each other in a few key paces making photo opportunities easy. We can also provide drivers and vehicles for the photographers to ferry them along the routes and checkpoints. At the event we will be surprising 25-30 local underprivileged children with a new bicycle and helmet that day. The kids think they are attending a BBQ with their family only to find out we have brand new bicycles for them to take home. This makes for another great photo opportunity. As a 501c non-profit we are looking for volunteer photographers and videographers. A voucher for your time can be obtained for tax purposes if requested. For your skills we will feed you all you can eat at the post ride BBQ. Each photographer will receive a “goodie bag” stuffed with a great event shirt, socks, coupons at restaurants and many other items of value. The photos and videos will be posted year-round on the East Lyme town website with your credits for all to see. We will also list all photographers on the town website. Should a rider want to purchase a photo we will direct them to that photographer. If you would like to set up a banner or table to promote yourself that would be great.
