Photographer Job in Austin, Texas

My name is Matthew Mahon and I have been a professional commercial photographer for 18 years. My work has been published in Texas Monthly, WIRED and the NY Times Magazine, to name only a few, and I have done advertising work for AT&T, Southwest Airlines, Blue Cross Blue Sheild and the list goes on. I am hosting a 2 day workshop on my 7 acre ranch in the Leander Hills Sept 17 and 18th. I will be focusing on outdoor, indoor and lifestyle portraits using both strobe lighting and natural light. I will also cover a variety of post processing techniques and ending with some sound business and marketing approaches that have kept me working for 18 years. The max for attendees will be 15. A light breakfast with coffee and a full lunch will be provided both days. For those interested in staying at the ranch Saturday night accommodations can be made in one of the houses and camping is available too. A fully manual digital SLR and laptop will be required and a general understanding of how your camera works. This class is NOT for beginners but rather for the professional just starting out, serious enthusiast, students ready to graduate or professionals who would like to see how another photographer approaches the same business. Strobe lighting will be not provided, so bring your gear. If you have no lighting contact us and an arrangement can be made.
