Photographer Job in Florence, Massachusetts

Jacki Jacobs Photography of Florence MA is seeking 1-3 interns for both summer and fall terms. Ideal applicants will have experience with social media marketing, such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Website/Wordpress building and editing a plus. Creative individuals who can think outside of the box are encouraged to apply. Graphic skills and photoshop knowledge not necessary but highly appreciated for this position. Two days a week of office work and occasional event experience provided. This position is mostly unpaid however opportunities to earn commission as well as paid event work available. Exceptional interns will be considered for future employment opportunities. Interns will receive training in photography, marketing and video. Some opportunities to work on fun projects such as video game development and artistic photo shoots are also available. Responsibilities Two days a week: --Preset posts for face book and twitter using hoot suite --Create behind the scenes photo collages for instagram --Create and market photo specials and gift certificates --Create promotional and behind the scenes videos for website and you tube channel (training provided) --Type up blog entries for weekly release --Help create timelines and check lists for upcoming projects and events --Create and maintain a google calendar and marketing list --Aid in the production of a monthly newsletter --Updating training materials for future interns/employees --Editing and updating the website and maybe helping to create new webpages. Event responsibilities: --Be time keeper and list checker --Be interactive and entertaining for clients --Pass out business cards and promotional postcards --Carry and keep track of equipment (nothing is too heavy and I carry most of it myself, these things would be like a tripod of gift for client.) --May be responsible for handling money, so knowledge of general cashier skills helpful and knowledge of square is a definite plus. Qualifications: Candidates should have strong communications skills and a go-getter attitude.
