PROFESSIONAL PROFILE Juan Barboza is a graduated architect of the University of Zulia and has studied photography at the School of Photography Julio Vengoechea in Venezuela. He has conducted seminars, courses, workshops and conferences in Venezuela and the United States; in the areas of archi- tecture, photography, graphic design and graphic arts and has participated in di erent projects in these areas. He has been art director and managing director of di erent design studios, architecture, print shops and audiovisual production. Since 2007 he is a member of Avecofa, (Venezuelan Association Merchants of Photography). He currently teaches, advisor and consul- tant to various companies and organizations. PHOTOGRAPHY Juan Barboza has taken photographs for magazines and the public and private sectors, in the areas of sports photography, editorial, corporate, Industrial, documentary, product, architec- ture and interior design, for companies like Chevron Group Venezuela, Chrysler de Venezuela, Chevyplan (GM), Hardware EPA, Sicrea Advertising, oil contractors Ehcopech, Nabors Drillings, INAVI, Bitmax Technostore, among others. He has participated in collective samples in Caracas and Maracaibo.
