Photographer in Lincoln, California

I'm an experienced photographer who's been shooting since 2001. I shoot portraits, fashion, glamour, family, products, food, travel, real estate, corporate, and events. With my photography I try to capture the inherent beauty of the subjects, as well as convey emotions and visual narratives. I love photography because it gives me a unique perspective when looking at the world around me. It is different from painting, writing and music because you must physically interact with the world around you to be a photographer. In photography, you can either let serendipity be the muse, or can take control and shape reality into an ideal. The split moment recorded in photography is quite different from video, as moving pictures are like novels, spelling out everything in detail, while still photographs are like poetry, saying so much with so little. I'm also a freelance artist who does illustration as well as traditional fine art, so I have both the artistic and technical savvy that many photographers don't have.
