I am a self-taught portrait and feature artist living in Virginia. My love affair with photography was sparked at an early age by watching Mom and Dad use their Polaroid Land Camera to take our family photos. I remember there being something magical about looking through that lens and creating memories that could last forever. My creative flair has become a staple in all my images - eclectic and emotive; my ideas and imagery are constantly evolving during the shoot and my images often convey that spontaneity. This, combined with the ability to connect and get to the core of my subjects, allows me to portray the personality and the essence of each person in my portraiture. I gather initial shoot concepts from art, cinema, and everyday life, blending them into the shoot.
