Michael is one of the most naturally talented, hardworking, and super-friendly photographers you'll meet. He takes an academic approach to studying the content in advance, testing lighting, scouting the location early, and getting a good sense of what it takes to get the best photos. He is superb at guest/subject interaction with a naturally jolly disposition, making friends, and putting everyone at ease. This includes superb "traffic control" in terms of moving large groups of people quickly and politely through group photos. He maintains open communication with the event host at all times, showing off his recent images and even soliciting feedback and taking suggestions, although he always has a clear artistic vision. He sends photos promptly after the event and has reasonable rates. On top of that he is an absolute pleasure to work with - very friendly, optimistic, flexible, and a great sense of humor. I would highly recommend Michael for any project or event.
