While I have most of my experience with wildlife (including pets), landscapes, and architecture, I am a perfectly capable portrait photographer. With portraits I prefer soft light and vibrant colors that suit my subject and help convey something unseen, rather than using bright lights and standard head-shots, but I am perfectly happy doing traditional photo-shoots as well.
